Love Must Be Louder:
Coffee & Community Celebration TONIGHT at 5 PM
This past week, Christian faith leaders in Yakima released a public statement in response to a Christian nationalist event being held in their community today. Lifting up their belief in love, humility, justice, and service to their neighbors, they rejected Christian nationalism and are calling community to gather with them tonight.
Join us for a time of connecting with neighbors, having a cup of coffee, and sharing about the things that make our Yakima Valley special – including our diversity and respect for one another. There will be conversations, music, and a night to honor the hope that we have for healing from the deep divisions and polarization we have experienced in our nation and our community.
We will be centering love, respect, kindness, and care for one another because hate has no home in Yakima.
