This week the Washington State Senate passed landmark legislation prohibiting local, state and federal law enforcement officers — including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents — from wearing face-concealing masks while interacting with the public. Our 2026 Legislative AgendaEach year, we shape our legislative priorities alongside our coalition partners, statewide network, FAN Policy Committee, and FAN Governing Board. This year, we also introduced a survey to help inform our priorities. We hope to make this a routine part of our interim process.
