Cluster/Regional Gatherings are organized by FAN and the faith communities in our Network of Advocating Faith Communities (NAFC) during the interim time between legislative sessions (June through November). Smaller, geographically-grouped cluster meetings enable advocates to meet face to face (when possible), share their community’s justice actions, plan regional collaboration, and strategize how to highlight policy concerns with their own legislators and the wider community.
The three main goals for our gatherings are:
- To build closer relationships among the faith communities and individuals of conscience of the specific Cluster/Regional group, and especially within Legislative Districts
- To jointly help shape FAN advocacy and action priorities
- To strategize together on advocacy plans and events for the coming year, and to begin to reach out to your legislators
