Faith & Spirituality

Our work for justice emerges from the heart of diverse traditions, texts and practices that call us to love and care for our neighbors and the earth.

We believe in the inherent worth and dignity of all individuals and communities. We seek to respect and authentically welcome diversity of experience and expression, foster community, and join our powerful voices in civic engagement.

Justice & Equity:

We seek systems that enable all people and communities to have the resources and opportunities to live a full and meaningful life; and we pursue policies that end oppression and intersectional inequities.

Interconnectedness

We cherish and respect the interdependent web of all existence, including our relationships with one another and the earth. We support human actions and policies that promote resilience, sustainability, and environmental justice.

Collaboration

We seek to ground our advocacy and public action in mutual and accountable relationships that move us to solidarity. We celebrate the participation, lived expertise, and leadership of all engaged with FAN and our coalition partners.

Pluralism

We embrace a society in which diverse religious communities and people of conscience seek to understand each other, fully engage in our democratic process, and experience free exercise of religion, speech, and peaceable assembly.
