ZoomAn overview of policy issues that will be addressed in the 2024 legislative session. Join FAN advocates across the state to learn more about FAN’s legislative agenda for 2024 and the opportunities to support legislation that will make a difference in our communities. The first part will include presentations on each of the categories of FAN’s work, with a chance for Q&A with FAN Policy Engagement Director, Kristin Ang. Both new advocates and returning ones seeking to refresh their knowledge are welcome. FAN staff will present some of the tools we use throughout the session, with a chance for Q&A. Eastern Washington Legislative Conference
"Renewing Hope for the Future" is the theme for the 2024 Eastern Washington Legislative Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27. The event features an interfaith worship service, a young adult activists panel, a plenary on environmental issues, a panel with faith leader responses, and briefings on 2024 legislative issues by the Faith Action Network, Washington State Catholic Conference and Earth MinistryWashington /Interfaith Power and Light. FAITH ACTION NETWORK’s Interfaith Advocacy Day brings the voices of compassion and justice to our elected leaders. Meeting with your legislators and their staff on this day is putting your faith into action! On Interfaith Advocacy Day, you will be able to: Join plenaries and workshops that will explore the issues on FAN’s 2024 Legislative Agenda.
