Interfaith Advocacy Days – Register Today

Registration for Interfaith Advocacy Day in Olympia is open! It will be February 20,
9 AM – 3 PM, starting at The United Churches of Olympia. Click here to register.

This event is a great opportunity to join workshops that will break down the issues on FAN’s 2018 Legislative Agenda, learn current best practices on how to advocate in today’s legislature, prepare for briefings and hearings with advocates from your legislative district, and meet with your legislator! Download a flyer and share it with your friends, family, and faith community. If you would like to volunteer before 2/20 as part of “Team Warm & Visible” by cutting fabric for 400 FAN scarves, let us know! If you would like to volunteer on the day of IFAD, please email us at [email protected].

If you live east of the mountains, we have other advocacy days in store for you! The 2018 Eastern Washington Legislative Conference in Spokane will be Saturday, January 27, from 8:45 AM to 3 PM, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 316 E. 24th Ave. RSVP with $20 to The Fig Tree, 509-535-4112, or [email protected]. Please download and share flyers in your community.

Yakima Advocacy Day will be February 10, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM at Central Lutheran Church. The theme will be: “How are the Children? Advocating for Youth and Families.” It will be a free event, include lunch, and have translation available. Download a flyer to share, and register here.
