Interfaith Advocacy Day

Now is the time to register for Interfaith Advocacy Day in Olympia! It will be February 20, 9 AM – 3 PM, starting at The United Churches of Olympia. Click here to register. We are scheduling appointments with legislators now and have a better chance to get them if we know you’re coming.

Attend workshops about the issues, learn current best practices on how to advocate in today’s legislature, and meet with your legislator! Download a flyer and share it with your friends, family, and faith community. If you’re interested in taking a chartered bus to Olympia, please let us know! We’re trying to find sponsorships to cover the cost, but may ask for contributions of $5-20 per passenger.

If you would like to volunteer before 2/20 as part of “Team Warm & Visible” by hosting a party to cut fabric for 400 FAN scarves, let us know! If you would like to volunteer on the day of IFAD, please email us at [email protected].

Yakima Advocacy Day will be February 10, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM at Central Lutheran Church. The theme will be: “How are the Children? Advocating for Youth and Families.” It will be a free event, include lunch, and have translation available. Download a flyer to share, and register here.
