Two Raging Grannies: Film Screening and Discussion

March 19 @ 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Presented by Seattle Fellowship of Reconciliation, starring local activists Shirley Morrison and Hinda Kipnis.

Film Screening of Two Raging Grannies and conversation with Shirley and Hinda to follow.

Shirley Morrison and Hinda Kipnis are local activists who are long time friends and members of the Seattle Raging Grannies. At ages 90 and 84, they set off on a trip to Hinda’s birthplace, New York City, seeking information about our country’s planet-destroying quest for perpetual growth. This film by Norwegian director Havard Bustnes, like the Raging Grannies, will entertain but also will make important points about the environments, the economy, and social justice. It is also a film about friendship.

All are welcome! Free, an offering will be taken.
