Learning About Health Care Around the World

February 14 @ 7:00 PM

Come join us for a captivating discussion with Professor Aaron Katz on lessons learned from other countries’ healthcare systems that can be applied to achieve a system in the US that provides affordable, accessible, quality care for all.

Aaron Katz is a principal lecturer for Health Services, Global Health (adjunct) and Law (adjunct) at the University of Washington School of Public Health where he teaches several graduate level courses in health policy.  Aaron has developed a deep understanding of the U.S. health care system and its strengths and weaknesses, during a career that has spanned 40 years and four “bouts” with healthcare reform.

His current research interests include a focus on strengthening public health systems in developing countries through enhancing policy research, development, advocacy capacity, and leadership training.

There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.  Come join us!
