March 25 @ 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Over the past seven years, East Shore has begun developing relationships with Muslim communities on the east side. The current political climate calls on us to reaffirm our commitment to standing on the side of love. Attending this year’s Interfaith Friendship dinner on March 25th at East Shore, you will have an opportunity to get to know some of the wonderful members of our community who attend east side mosques. Over dinner there will be ample time to engage in casual conversation and together share our experiences, feelings and hopes. For more information about this program or to volunteer to help out, please contact Marilyn Mayers.
During the evening program, East Shore is also hosting a Kids4Peace program for youth (4th grade and above). Kids4Peace is an interfaith youth movement which uses interfaith dialogue and education to enable youth to learn about issues such as religious intolerance, racism, poverty and homelessness. For more information about this program, please contact Aisha Hauser.
Please register in advance to attend the dinner or to enroll your children in the Kids4Peace program.
Both the dinner and Kids4Peace programs run from 5:30-8:00 at East Shore.
