Can’t We Talk? An Experiment in Conversation, Contemplation, and our Search for Common Ground!

January 21 @ 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

The Dialogue Circle Initiative of the Spiritual Wisdom Council will be framed by the theme: Can’t We Talk?  It will consist of 6 workshops designed to promote civil discourse on matters where family, neighbors, and citizens have become deeply partisan and often have stopped speaking over political differences. Through personal storytelling, role playing exercises, relational conversational skills and contemplative practices, we will explore, illuminate, and integrate spiritual wisdom and ethical values to enhance the way we represent the positions we take on topical political issues of the day.
