UNITING HEARTS AND MINDS: RAISING REVENUES FOR THE COMMON GOOD
IFAD brings together advocates from faith communities and nonprofits across the state of Washington. The day’s activities include workshops on issues and advocacy (topics will include the state budget, environment, disability services, and housing/homelessness), legislative briefings, visits with your state legislators, and an interfaith worship. This year the faith community is uniting on Valentine’s Day to call on our legislators to unite their hearts and minds and raise revenue instead of cutting funding for programs that support the common good.
